Didas Akognon is a filmmaker, director, and screenwriter born and raised in Bladensburg, Maryland. He is of West African decent, as both of his parents migrated to the United States from Benin, West Africa. Currently, he is pursing a B.S degree in  Visual Communication & Digital Media Arts (VCDMA), Concentration:Digital Cinema & Time-Based Media. Didas is well versed in many other concentrations in arts and entertainment. These concentrations include: Photography, Graphic Design, television production, stage lighting, set design, and more.  Didas aspires to continue his education and attend graduate school while launching his production company, D Dot Visualz Productions.
